We are seeking expressions of interest from people interested in working with us.

We invite expressions of interest for multiple roles. All roles are part time, remote positions. Click on the roles listed to review the position description.

How to Express Your Interest

Before you start, please ensure you:

  • have read the information on our website about the role/s you are interested in
  • have relevant information and supports available
  • are using a computer with internet access
  • have an hour available to complete the form

You can register your interest using our online form, or follow the instructions on the form to register in other ways.

Inclusion, Diversity, Accessibilty and Safety

We are committed to creating safe, accessible and inclusive environments for diverse autistic people.

We encourage you to express your interest if you are excited about contributing to ASAN AUNZ’s work even if you don’t meet all of the requirements or feel you need accommodations or flexible work arrangements.

We provide flexible work arrangements if appropriate.

We encourage you to express your interest if you identify as:

  • First Peoples, First Nations, Aboriginal, Maori, Pasifika and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Culutrally or Linguistically diverse
  • A non-speaker, or situational, intermittent or unreliable speaker
  • Multiply-disabled
  • LGBTIQASB+
  • Have lived experience with abuse, harrassment or discrimination
  • Having an identity that is under-represented in autistic advocacy

Next Steps

Applicants will be advised of the outcome within 21 days (3 weeks) of expressions of interest (EOIs) closing. You may be advised that you are shortlisted or unsuccessful. We will attempt to provide feedback if you are unsuccessful but our ability to do this will be limited if there are many applicants.

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to meet with ASAN AUNZ Board Members and/or leaders. If this is the case, we will ask you for information so we can make the meeting inclusive and accessible.

Before any offer is made, applicants may be asked to:

  • Share information on their interests regarding any potential or perceived conflicts of interest
  • Undertake a police or other check to provide assurance on their suitability to engage with vulnerable people
  • If requested, provide references and/or proof of right to work
