Lachlan is passionate about supporting the advocacy work ASAN AUNZ does. He identifies as autistic and has spent 20 years educating, campaigning, and advocating.

Lachlan has served on the national board of Autism New Zealand twice, have chaired an advisory group with a national training organisation, training mental health and disability support workers in New Zealand, and have personally mentored, supported, and advocated for Autistics and their families.

Currently Lachlan is a support worker in Melbourne, Australia, specialising in supporting autistics, and am a new member of the Disability Advisory Committee with the Brimbank City Council in West Melbourne.

Lachlan has skills in co-design, advocacy, social media planning, events management, working with vulnerable people, minute-taking, and policy review.

All his adult life, Lachlan has dedicated himself to being a part of improving the lives of people with Autistics and their families/whanau, and continues to do this through ASAN AUNZ.
