Cheryl is ASAN AUNZ’s general manager. She joined ASAN AUNZ after receiving her diagnosis in her 40s, following the diagnosis of her son. Cheryl was seeking community when she was elected to the ASAN AUNZ board in 2022. She has had diverse lived experiences and uses these to help drive self advocacy for Autistic people in Australia and New Zealand.
Cheryl has a bachelor of commerce (management) and an MBA. Professionally, she has reported to corporate boards and risk subcommittees and has been a company secretary, among other diverse working experiences. Cheryl now runs her own social enterprise providing co-creation solutions to build an inclusive reality.
